A bomb was found on a train about the leave the station in Myanmar's capital on Sunday and authorities blamed a dissident group for planting the explosive.
A bomb with a timing device was discovered on the roof of the train by a passenger in Naypyitaw, about 250 miles (400 kilometers) north of Yangon _ the country's commercial capital, state-run television said.

The bomb was defused and no one was hurt. Authorities said they were searching for two "terrorists" whom they accused of planting the device, it said.

Authorities blamed the All Burma Students' Democratic Front, which was formed in 1988 after the ruling generals crushed pro-democracy demonstrations and a number of student activists fled to eastern jungle areas along the Thai border, where ethnic minority groups gave them a safe haven.

A bomb exploded at Naypyitaw railway station in January 2008, killing a 40-year old ethnic Karen woman. The government said the woman was killed trying to set off the bomb.

Pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi is on trial in Yangon and faces five years in prison for allegedly violating terms of her house arrest. http://www.etaiwannews.com/etn/news_content.php?id=958144&lang=eng_news
