Dear All,

According to Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP), more than 2,000 political prisoners remain in jail, including at least 124 activists who are in poor health.
Recently, Myanmar-born Kyaw Zaw Lwin, alias Nyi Nyi Aung, was detained on arrival at Yangon airport on September 3, he was at Insein prison, where many political detainees are held.
His mother Daw Sann Sann Tin, aged 60, is in Meikhtila prison in Mandalay division. She was sentenced to nine years imprisonment in November 2008.
Also imprisoned are two of his cousins, Thet Thet Aung, aged 32, a leading woman activist and Nwe Hnin Yee (aka) Noe Noe, aged 21, a student activist.

If you are against ALL HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS,

Come and show your support for the political prisoners of Burma by joining the candle light vigil in front of Burmese Embassy at 6 pm on October 3rd (Saturday).
