A Myanmar national was stabbed to death in Bukit Sentosa on Sunday

Htai Haing, in his 40s, was found on the roadside in Jalan Teratai 7 at 11.30pm by a passerby, who called the police.

Hulu Selangor police chief Superintendent Norel Azmi Yahya Affandi said the victim, who was wearing a T-shirt and a pair of shorts, had a stab wound on the left side of his body and another in the stomach.

There were no documents on his body but he was later identified with the help of several Myanmar workers who stayed near the area.

"Investigations revealed the victim had been involved in a fight with one of his countryman prior to being stabbed."
Norel Azmi urged witnesses to contact the Hulu Selangor police headquarters at 03-60641222 or the nearest police station.
